2. Will Fuller, Miami Dolphins

If you’re going to argue that the Cowboys shouldn’t keep Gallup because of injuries, then Will Fuller of the Miami Dolphins isn’t a good option. This is another receiver who just can’t seem to stay on the field.

For starters, Fuller missed the final five games of last season with the Houston Texans and the first game of 2021 because he violated the NFL PED rules. The Dolphins took a chance on Fuller with a one-year, $10 million deal that has not gone well.

Fuller has played two games this season due to a finger injury and “personal issues.” That means his final stat line as a Dolphin will be four receptions for 26 yards. Yikes.

The team said Fuller suffered a setback in his recovery that required more rest. Now, members of the organization are declining to comment on whether they’ve even seen the former Notre Dame product at all recently.

This is yet another example of a guy who has talent but just can’t seem to stay healthy. In his career, the receiver has yet to play a full season.

Why throw a one-year deal at a player who may stay healthy and may help your team. Sure, a one-year contract means fewer dollars of cap space, but why pay any money at all even if it’s less money? Fuller is way too big of a gamble. Steer clear, Cowboys.
