2. Michael Gallup, WR

Don’t think that Michael Gallup’s ACL tear will keep him from making big bucks next year. Gallup is No. 16 on the list. He can complete catches and get yards on some of the best corners in the game. His vertical leap and acrobatic ability make him stand out among some of the best receivers in the league.

He, sadly, also may benefit from playing with a quarterback who is more consistent than Dak Prescott has been as of late. Gallup went up three spots from PFF’s previous rankings and is projected by them to get a four-year, $55 million deal. I mean, not many receivers can pull off the touchdown he did in the video below.

There are eleven other receivers on the list. Four above Gallup, and the rest below. Let’s talk about a few. Obviously, names like Davante Adams (No. 1) and Chris Godwin (No. 3) are in a class above Gallup. Now, both Gallup and Juju Smith-Schuster (No. 43) will enter free agency at an inconvenient time with injury issues. Plus, D.J. Chark Jr’s (No. 39) extensive injury history won’t help him, either. Let’s talk about Mike Williams and Will Fuller.

Los Angeles Chargers receiver Mike Williams is ranked at No. 10. He has had a stellar 2021 with 1,027 receiving yards, eight touchdowns, and an average of 15.3 yards per reception. His large stature and insane vertical make him stand out among the pack. Williams also does well with contested catches.

Will Fuller of the Miami Dolphins sits at No. 47. Unlike Gallup, Fuller will likely be fielding more one-year offers thanks to injuries and prior suspensions. He lacks a bit of durability and versatility but can be an excellent deep threat. Can he stay on the field for a full season? Who knows.

We hope Gallup gets more time to shine in the Lone Star State. There is a lot up in the air for the receiver right now. Only time will tell where he lands.
