NFL power rankings: Almost certain playoff locks (such as the Dallas Cowboys)

9. Buffalo Bills (6-4) – Last ranking, 5th
8. Baltimore Ravens (7-3) – Last ranking, 9th
7. Los Angeles Rams (7-3) – Last ranking, 2nd
6. Dallas Cowboys (7-3) – Last ranking, 6th

It is almost impossible to envision a scenario in which these three teams aren’t playing in mid-January. None of the four are playing anywhere near their capability but if they can figure things out in December, they could play in February.

NFL power rankings: The best of the best

5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-3) – Last ranking, 3rd
4. Green Bay Packers (8-3) – Last ranking, 7th
3. Tennessee Titans (8-3) – Last ranking, 4th
2. Kansas City Chiefs (7-4) – Last ranking, 13th
1. Arizona Cardinals (9-2) – Last ranking, 1st

The Chiefs have put themselves right back in the conversation, winning four straight, while the Packers’ only loss was to the Chiefs without their star quarterback. Arizona remains number one after winning two of three with their backup quarterback

That wraps up the second installment of my NFL power rankings. Keep an eye out for the third and final installment prior to Christmas. Also, feel free to discuss your thoughts in the comments below. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
