Dallas Cowboys: 2. Trevon Diggs’ pick #7 turns into 6

After an ugly missed 51-yard field goal from Zuerlein the Cowboys’ defense took the field trailing 21-20 needing to make a stop to give the offense a chance to win the game.

The Cowboys need a turnover you say? Luckily for the Cowboys, they have the league leader in interceptions named Trevon Diggs. That’s right the incredible streak of games with a Trevon Diggs interception has extended to six.

Diggs caught the interception off a tipped pass from Mac Jones to Kendrick Bourne and returned it all the way for a touchdown.

Diggs is just one of those rare cornerbacks that seem to catch the ball every time it comes his way. His seven interceptions this year continue to lead the league by a wide margin. It really makes you wonder why opposing quarterbacks continue to throw his way.

The second-year corner is well on his way to double-digit interceptions and a possible defensive player of the year award.
