Dallas Cowboys: 3 keys to beating the Carolina Panthers
Dallas Cowboys: 1. Force more turnovers
What a season it has been for the Cowboys’ defense so far. Through three games, this unit has created eight turnovers, which is the most in the NFL. Also, their six interceptions are tied for the most in the league with the New Orleans Saints. So far, America’s Team has done their job on defense.
Nonetheless, the Cowboys have to keep this up. These turnovers have allowed them to stay in many games this season including in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers game and Los Angeles Chargers game.
Now, they face a Panthers offense that hasn’t turned over the ball a whole lot this season. As a team, they have only thrown one interception and fumbled once. However, the same could have been said last week when the Eagles came into the game with zero turnovers. The Cowboys’ defense has been a major surprise this season, but they have to keep it going. Creating more turnovers is likely how they will come out on top in this game.
