Dallas Cowboys: 2. Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard both rush for 100 yards

The Panthers’ defense currently sits at number one in the NFL in rushing yards allowed per game with 45 yards. But I think that has more to do with the Jets and Texans offenses that they faced two of the first three weeks.

Last season, Carolina’s defense allowed 121 rushing yards per game and did not add much to their defensive front in the offseason. So I am expecting a huge game from both Cowboys’ running backs as this will be the toughest test for Carolina so far.

The last time both Elliott and Pollard had 100 yards each in a game was week 15 of 2019 when Zeke rushed for 117 yards and Pollard rushed for 131 yards. That was against Aaron Donald and the Los Angeles Rams.

The Panthers do not have any defensive tackle as good as Donald so the opportunity for a 100-100 game from both running backs is certainly possible. Even though I am predicting 200+ yards rushing there will still be plenty to go around in the passing game.
