The Dallas Cowboys‘ latest turn on HBO’s Hard Knocks is officially over. On Tuesday night the show wrapped up its 16th season and their third featuring America’s Team, by giving fans a window into the Cowboys’ final week of training camp.

To steal a phrase from the Looney Tunes, for Hard Knocks, “That’s All Folks”. For the Dallas Cowboys? Well, it’s on to Tampa Bay.

While this season of Hard Knocks as a whole has been a bit of a mixed bag, the finale gave fans some of the most memorable moments of the season and ensured the show went out on a relatively high note. Now, just as I’ve done for each of the previous installments of Hard Knocks, here are three takeaways from the season finale:

3. Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback Dak Prescott has a fan in Aaiden Diggs

Back in the third episode of Hard Knocks, viewers were introduced to second-year cornerback Trevon Diggs’ son Aaiden Diggs. The younger Diggs immediately stole the show and he was back again during this week’s finale for some more memorable fun.

This time, Trevon took his son for some ice cream at the Star in Frisco where Aaiden told cameras that quarterback Dak Prescott was his “favorite quarterback in the whole entire world” and that he wanted his phone number. Seconds later the team’s star quarterback surprises him and gives him a signed jersey.

Right after, the two went outside and played a game of catch together, with Aaiden even spiking the ball after catching a touchdown. I’ve written a lot about how much I love it when Hard Knocks showcases these kinds of human moments and it feels like they saved one of the best of the season for last.

As clear of a star as Aaiden looks to be, it’s the elder Diggs who Dallas Cowboys fans will be keeping their eyes on this year. He showed a lot of promise during his rookie campaign and he will be opening the season as the team’s top corner.
