3. Dan Quinn, Defensive Coordinator

Okay. Former Atlanta Falcons Head Coach Dan Quinn is not your typical free-agent signing. However, his impact on defense this season will be more than anyone the Jones family brought to the Cowboys in free agency.

After being run out of Atlanta, Quinn took time to pick the right job and the right situation. Once former Defensive Coordinator Mike Nolan was let go from Dallas, it seemed to be a perfect match for both sides.

Dedicating an episode on why he came to Dallas, the message he’s giving to the defense, and the direction he’s taking them in, is something fans want to know. After the train wreck of last year, reassurance that there is improvement would go a long way.

So far this preseason, the defense looks much improved compared to last season. Why is that? Getting a look at player’s honest opinions on how they feel about their coordinator and what makes him a special coach would answer that question.

If Quinn aspires to be a head coach in the league again, it would be a great opportunity for him to get in front of the camera like it is an interview. It would showcase his talents and how he is a great teacher and leader of men.
