The Dallas Cowboys haven’t won a Super Bowl since the 1995 NFL season. For those who are counting, that was more than 25 years ago. Yet, that fact hasn’t allowed the team to drop in popularity.

Despite the Cowboys’ lack of playoff success in recent years, its loyal fanbase continues to flock to games, both home and away, and to make the team’s contests some of the most-watched programs on all of television.

Of course, that fan love extends to merchandise sales as well. From jerseys, t-shirts, and hoodies to wall decals, toys, and figurines; if the item features the logo of America’s Team or one of its prominent players, it sells.

That’s why it was no surprise that several Cowboy players dominated on a recent list published by the NFLPA titled Top 50 NFL Player Sales List March 1, 2021-May 31, 2021. Three Cowboy stars were among the top 10 of all officially licensed products sold by the NFL.

Quarterback Dak Prescott ranked third overall on the sales list, with only the Tampa Bay Buccaneers passer Tom Brady (1) and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (2) ahead of him. Prescott is coming off a season-ending ankle injury that limited him to only five games in 2020.

Prescott was mentioned as being among the most popular Fanatics-branded and Nike jerseys. Dak was also among the best-selling Fathead wall decals and cutouts. Fans also bought plenty of his figurines and squishy toys from Party Animal.

Surprisingly, second-year wide receiver CeeDee Lamb finished fifth overall on the list. Lamb is coming off a strong rookie season where he recorded 74 receptions for 935 yards and seven total scores.

Los Angeles quarterback Justin Herbert and Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson were voted the NFL’s Offensive Rookies of the Year in 2020 over Lamb. Herbert ranked 19th on the sales list while Jefferson was 41st.

Running back Ezekiel Elliott ranked seventh on the list. That’s despite Zeke coming off one of his worst seasons as a professional. Other Cowboys making the Top 50 in sales included wide receiver Amari Cooper at No. 18 and first-round rookie linebacker Micah Parsons at No. 21.
