Blake Jarwin, TE

Unlike the aforementioned Trysten Hill, tight end Blake Jarwin’s place on the roster is all but assured. In fact, he’s the projected starter at the position despite the excellent play of fellow tight-end Dalton Schultz last season.

But like Hill, Jarwin is coming off a season-ending injury. The soon-to-be 27-year old also suffered a torn ACL, but this one ended his year before it really began in Week One against the Los Angeles Rams. It was reported this offseason that Jarwin was able to do a few drills during OTAs but is continuing to rehab from his injury.

While fans would love to see a strong training camp from Jarwin, it might be more important for the player’s confidence and for him to keep his starting role. Despite basically sitting out an entire season, the expectations for the former undrafted tight end are sky-high.

Entering his fifth season in the NFL, it’s finally time for Jarwin to fulfill his potential. But if he doesn’t have a strong camp, Schultz is seemingly waiting in the wings coming off a breakout season and entering a contract year in Dallas.
