The 2021 NFL schedule has been released and the Dallas Cowboys will look to avenge their 6-10 record when they kick off in Tampa Bay against the reigning super bowl champions.

For the first time, the 2021 NFL season will feature 17 regular-season games for each team. This will be the biggest and most anticipated season ever, especially after many stadiums had limited or no fans last season.

Without further ado, here are game-by-game predictions for the 2021 Dallas Cowboys.

Week One: Dallas Cowboys at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Dak makes his return from last season’s injury along with signing his long-term deal. New defensive coordinator Dan Quinn’s young defense will have their first test against Brady.

This game is full of storylines and I would expect it to be one of the highest viewed games of the entire year. This game has a shootout written all over it and I think Prescott’s awesome return is capped off with a statement win.

Cowboys 34- Bucs 30

Record: 1-0

Week Two: Dallas Cowboys at Los Angeles Chargers

For the first time since the 2012 season, the Cowboys will play their first two games on the road. This time in Sofi stadium for the Chargers home opener.

2020 NFL rookie of the year, Justin Herbert, will provide the Cowboys with another big test. The Chargers finished 2020 with a 7-9 record and have a new head coach, Brandon Staley, running the show.

The Cowboys will be coming off an emotional week one victory and I could see this as a possible letdown game. As well as, going from the east coast to the west coast in the first two weeks could be a problem for Dallas.

The up-and-coming Chargers pull off the upset.

Chargers 31- Cowboys 29

Record: 1-1
