Round 5, Pick 179: Josh Palmer, WR – Tennesee
Round 6, Pick 192: Patrick Johnson, DE – Tulane
Round 6, Pick 227: Pro Wells, TE – TCU
Round 7, Pick 238: Damar Hamlin, S – Pittsburgh

If the Dallas Cowboys have a day three like this next week, there will be massive hyperbole put in the atmosphere regarding their draft being one of the best in 2021.

Palmer and Johnson have legit shots to make an NFL roster, even one with depth at the position like the Cowboys possess. Palmer would battle Noah Brown for that fifth receiver spot while Johnson could push Bradlee Anae for his roster spot.

As for Wells and Hamlin, they would have much harder times making the roster, but a year on the practice squad could help them grow into a role on this team in 2022.

Putting together a draft like this would guarantee the Dallas Cowboys young studs at the cornerback position for the next three years. It would also provide linebacker depth, in case injuries or lackluster play plague this team again.

It also provides depth along the offensive line and diamond in the rough prospect to add to the passing game. All in all, I feel like most Dallas Cowboys fans would be extremely happy with these results.
