In less than a week, the NFL’s 85th Player Selection Meeting will take place in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. For the Dallas Cowboys, their ten picks in the 2021 NFL Draft are tied with five other teams for the second most, only behind division rival, the Philadelphia Eagles.

After a hugely disappointing season that ended with the Cowboys reaching just six wins and a very top-heavy payroll, the ten picks serve a dual purpose. For one, additional cost-effective talent could certainly help balance some of the high-end contracts at the top of the roster.

For another, talent is obviously in need when you only win six games, no matter what the excuses may have been.

In years past, I would have already gone through the exercise of completing a mock draft. This year, however, I chose to wait until all of the Pro days have commenced. For my first go at it, I have decided to keep all ten picks and draft at every slot, something I’m not so sure will actually occur.

I also decided to use The Draft Network’s mock simulator, using their predictive board to make each selection. Without any further ado, let’s take a look at how things went for our beloved Dallas Cowboys.
