The Dallas Cowboys have a tremendous opportunity next week. It all starts with the 10th overall pick. It’s a chance to fix the holes in the ship, a golden occasion to reroute the GPS towards the land of the living.

Let’s face it: The Cowboys were dead in the water in 2020. Even before losing quarterback Dak Prescott to a gruesome injury, the Cowboys were overcompensating with an aerial attack while the defense was left to their own devices.

Many have prophesied that this organization was a single player or coach away from a championship. In reality, the 2020 narrative has shown the world that the Dallas Cowboys are several blueprints away from any form of contention.

Playoffs! Playoffs? Playoffs?

I want to be clear about this, so listen carefully. The Dallas Cowboys enter 2021 with more questions than answers. And the guiding light here begins with how Dallas plans to navigate the 2021 NFL Draft.

The forum is the proven bedrock that alters the team’s fate. The Cowboys have done it before in the NFL Draft. As the organization enters its third decade without a championship ring, let alone an NFC Championship appearance, the Cowboys have proven that they can draft well.

Sure, we had some duds along the way, but what team hasn’t? Some players are still searching for their ultimate ending (Jaylon Smith). And of course, we can always point out the fact that the team dodged the Johnny Manziel fiasco.

Draft predictions, please?

With just a handful of days away from the start of the 2021 NFL Draft, let’s wrap up some predictions. Will the Dallas Cowboys grab Kyle Pitts, the superstar tight end out of Florida? Does the organization identify the need for safety, drafting new ammunition for that department?

Here are five predictions to consider. Let us know your thoughts and predictions as well in the comments section!
