123. . Safety - TCU. Dallas Cowboys. Ar'Darius Washington. 115. player

One of the most talented defenders in the 2021 NFL Draft falls to the fourth round in this mock due to his diminutive 5-foot-8, 178-pound frame. Here, the Cowboys find themselves an absolute steal and a talent who shouldn’t have fallen this far.

Playing alongside fellow highly-touted safety Trevon Moehrig, Washington recorded 46 total tackles and five interceptions in 2019. He didn’t post a pick last year in nine games but opposing offenses apparently stopped throwing at him.

Washinton’s football I.Q., skills in coverage, and his willingness to throw his body around as a tackler make up for his lack of size. But his pedestrian 4.61 40-time during his pro day will scare off many teams and Dallas fans should be grateful for that.

With the Cowboys, Washington is likely best suited to play at either free safety or covering the slot. He would give Dallas a talented young prospect to groom behind the newly signed Damontae Kazee, who is currently only under a one-year deal.
