Cowboys land Kyle Pitts in three-round 2021 NFL Mock Draft 3.0
Okay, fine. I drafted Flordia tight end, Kyle Pitts, for the Dallas Cowboys! Are you happy now?
The Cowboys land the super tight end, arguably a top-five pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. I am a strong proponent of going defense in the first round. But my last mock draft got me thinking.
What if the Dallas Cowboys do go offense with the 10th overall pick? More importantly, how will the rest of the draft shape up?
With the San Francisco 49ers jumping in at the third overall slot in the NFL Draft, how might the change trickle down? Does this change some draft strategies? If Kyle Pitts slips down, are the Cowboys feeling extra greedy on the offense?
Should the Dallas Cowboys go with Pitts in the first round, the team will need to immediately address weaknesses in other areas. Pitts is a luxury pick. The next picks (read: defense) must be home run shots.
The team needs help at the cornerback spot and new blood at the defensive line is a must. As you know, I am preaching for a new safety. Now that quarterback Dak Prescott landed his four-year, $160 million deal, America’s Team is looking to protect their investment in the form of an offensive tackle.
In this three-round 2021 NFL Mock Draft version, you know Kyle Pitts is flying to Dallas. But what about the next three very critical picks?
Let’s get into it! Enjoy the list. Let us know your thoughts in the comments section. Are you over the moon if the Dallas Cowboys grab Kyle Pitts?
