Round 3, Pick 35: Nick Bolton
• Linebacker, Missouri
• Height/Weight: 6-5, 260 lbs.
First impressions?
Well, I guess I’m just a tease now. Because we all know the Dallas Cowboys aren’t going all defense, four picks in a row. Won’t happen. Can’t happen.
Some of you are hoping for a wide receiver. Maybe some offensive line support. Maybe a tight end here. No thank you, sir. I’m preaching defense, so let’s feed the defense machine already!
Nick Bolton, a Texas native, is coming home. He was born and raised in Frisco, Texas. he turned 21 about a week ago. Bolton played three collegiate seasons with Missouri. He made the All-SEC First-Team twice, in 2019 and 2020. He recorded 217 total tackles, 13 pass deflections, 4.0 sacks, and two interceptions.
All hail Big D?
The Dallas Cowboys balance their football Excel sheets with four defensive rookies. How do you like that? Cowboys Nation, come at me in the comments section!
