Kyle Pitts is on the board. Do the Dallas Cowboys dare ignore defensive needs if the tight end out of the University of Florida is there at the 10th spot? What are your thoughts?

In my third 2021 NFL Mock Draft of the year, this is the first time I had to choose from Kyle Pitts and top cornerbacks, Patrick Surtain II and Caleb Farley. A piece of me wanted to shake things up and grab the tight end. Who knows: Maybe I’ll do just that!

Of course, the Dallas Cowboys locked up their quarterback in Dak Prescott. Now, we’ll have to see if the owner and general manager, Jerry Jones, amplifies his offensive tools with a key tight end piece.

Jones has provided Prescott with an elite backfield and top-notch catchers. Does the general manager get the itch to fill the void left by Jason Witten?

Look, I get the appeal. But with the Cowboys choosing an offensive picture last year by selecting wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, adding Pitts to the story could lend nightmares to the defense. Adding a tight end with the 10th overall pick isn’t the best road to take. (Or is it? Read on to find out who I take with the first pick!)

Before we get into the three-round 2021 NFL Mock Draft, let’s recap my selection from last week. Enjoy the list!
