Dallas Cowboys: A four-round 2021 NFL Mock Draft
With the 138th overall pick in the fourth round, the Dallas Cowboys select Ventrell Miller. Linebacker. Florida (Compensatory pick)
Defense. What can I say: I told you I was going all-in on defense. Ventrell Miller rounds off my first mock draft.
Miller stands at six-foot-one, 230 pounds. He played three seasons for Florida. Last year, he had a breakout season where he totaled 86 tackles, three pass deflections, and three and a half sacks. Overall, he totaled 156 tackles, five pass deflections, seven and a half sacks, and one interception.
The Dallas Cowboys need depth at the linebacker spot. Leighton Vander Esch is in and out. You could say the same for starting linebacker Jaylon Smith. This won’t be a spectacular, sexy pick, but again it’s about adding depth and I like Miller’s upside.
With injuries and inconsistency coming from the linebacker’s room, Miller serves depth and stability for the future.
