With the 99th overall pick in the third round, the Dallas Cowboys select Darius Stills. Defensive tackle. West Virginia (Compensatory pick)

Okay. Hear me out. The Dallas Cowboys are intent on fixing the line, and that starts with some attention in the middle. With Marvin Wilson now in the rookie group, adding Darius Stills is a bonus.

Stills played four seasons for West Virginia. He totaled 81 tackles, two pass deflections, 11.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and one interception. He earned a whopping 10.5 sacks his last two seasons.

In 2020, Stills was awarded the Consensus All-American and First Team All-Big 12. He stands at six-foot-one, 285 pounds. He’ll turn 23 in May.

With two strong defensive tackle rookies, the Cowboys hope Lawrence and the rest of the defensive ends add pressure to opposing offensive lines. Dallas needs firepower and depth here, and this rookie class can help bolster the defensive front.
