Welcome Back Kotter

These players should all be back. None of them should get a big offer to move on from the Cowboys and the team should want to retain their services for at least one more season.

QB – Dak Prescott – He’s going to get his own column, stay tuned.

OL – Joe Looney – Versatility, experience, and a locker room legend.

DB – Chidobe Awuzie – The talent is there. I believe that Quinn is capable of bringing out the best in him. A move to safety could be the difference.

DB – Jourdan Lewis – Same as Awuzie, minus the move to safety.

OT – Greg Senat

WR – Cedrick Wilson

Senat and Wilson are exclusive rights free agents. This is a designation that applies to any player with fewer than three accrued seasons on an expired contract. All the Cowboys would need to do is offer a one-year contract at the league minimum to retain them. Given the injuries at offensive tackle and Wilson’s versatility, these are no-brainer moves.
