The Dallas Cowboys must figure out and finalize a deal with Dak Prescott.

Dak Prescott has not played ball since October 11. Since then, the Dallas Cowboys have spiraled out of orbit. The theme of 2020 proves the importance of Prescott. Perhaps, the most important narrative is about his greatest ability, which is availability.

Without the starting quarterback, the Cowboys started 0-4 in his absence. Overall, Dallas has posted a 2-6 record without Prescott. The Dallas Cowboys have started three different quarterbacks in his absence.

With Prescott on the depth chart, the Cowboys booted the season with a 2-3 standing. The ‘Boys demonstrated numerous flaws in the ship, but it was clear that the starting quarterback covered up several blemishes. Plug out the variable of Prescott’s skill set, and you get an exclusive look into what the quarterback means to the team.

With three games still left on the docket, the Dallas Cowboys must fast forward and solve perhaps the greatest riddle of them all. What is the price to keep Dak Prescott in a Dallas uniform for life? Or will the Cowboys continue down the path of a franchise tag, forking over $37.7 in 2021? (according to Todd Archer at ESPN)

But there are other options. What if Prescott is traded? What if Dallas lets him walk (doubtful)? Will Prescott hold out?

The offseason is set up for some drama (again). If the Dallas Cowboys and Prescott can’t agree, here are three teams that I’d love to see the quarterback join forces with. Let me know your thoughts in the comments section as well.
