The Dallas Cowboys defense has been ridiculed non-stop by basically everyone who covers sports. I have gotten the feeling these last two games that the opponents have purposely taken their foot off the gas because they feel a bit sorry for this underachieving squad.
If opponents are really taking it easy after playing this defense, I have to wonder if coming up just shy of giving the most points in NFL history makes this defense the worst defense ever assembled?
Currently, the Dallas Cowboys defense has given up 243 points which are still on pace to break the most points ever given up by a team. The 533 points given up by the 1981 Baltimore Colts remain the most but are in serious jeopardy of becoming second place.
