To save their season, the Dallas Cowboys should consider signing one or more of these free agents

The Dallas Cowboys have hit rock bottom. Being blown out by a 1-5 Washington Football Team was the perfect measuring stick for hitting the ground floor. Yet, despite their uninspired performance leading to an embarrassing 25-3 loss last Sunday, the Cowboys can still win the NFC East and earn themselves a playoff berth.

But in order turn their season around, they’ll need to overcome several obstacles. One of the biggest being a lack of talent along their roster due to several injuries suffered at key positions.

This includes quarterback, tight end, their offensive line, defensive tackle, linebacker, and cornerback. Upgrades could also be used at other positions like safety.

The Cowboys could choose to address their roster needs via a trade. After all, the trade deadline is next Tuesday. And perhaps Dallas can find a team desperate enough to part ways with solid talent on the cheap or willing to take on one of the Cowboys’ star players and their troublesome contract.

But instead of giving up valuable draft picks, Dallas can still find talented veterans in free agency. And potentially at half the price. Here are five names we believe are worth consideration and signing to help salvage the season.
