The Dallas Cowboys welcome the 2-1 Cleveland Browns to AT&T Stadium. Can the ‘Boys jump back to 2-2, or will they face a 1-3 start?

Let’s be real here: The Dallas Cowboys must defeat the Cleveland Browns this Sunday. And, if we’re being really honest here, the Cowboys should probably show up to AT&T Stadium with a 0-3 mentality.

Because outside of the onside kick heard around the world a couple of weeks ago against the Atlanta Falcons, Dallas would be entering the October 4 contest with a 0-3 record. A 1-2 start sure looks a whole lot different, so the Dallas Cowboys can’t afford to let the Brownies cook ’em Texas-style at their home stadium.

I don’t see Cleveland hanging with our ‘Boys, but who am I to speak? I was dead wrong about the Rams prediction (whoops). I thought the Falcons and Matty Ice Ryan would thrash the defense. And I also thought the Cowboys would lose by double digits to the Seattle Seahawks.

The 2020 regular season has been completely unpredictable thus far, and mixing in a long list of injuries to the ingredients lists, the Dallas Cowboys are still looking for their footing. I mean, I don’t know about you, but I’m sick of the phrase, “Fortunately, the Cowboys play in the NFC East.” Well, sadly, the Dallas Cowboys do play in the NFC East.

So, even at 1-2, the Cowboys have chances to turn the ship, starting with Cleveland. After that, the Cowboys play the Giants, Cardinals, Washington Football Team, and then the Eagles. But first thing is first: The Cleveland Browns.

Here are three notes to think about before America’s Team welcomes in the Brownies. As always, stick around for a prediction!
