The Dallas Cowboys have a tough matchup this Sunday against Seattle. The defensive backfield, oddly enough, gives me hope.

The Dallas Cowboys are coming off one of the luckiest wins a franchise has ever had, especially this one. A snake bitten franchise a large part of the time, the Cowboys were able to take advantage of most things breaking right for them on Sunday, transmuting those Falcons screw-ups into their first victory of the season.

What a week it has been.

Now, they have to do it all over again. No, not make getting a victory as hard as they did last Sunday, but come out and be ready to go as hard as they can for 60 minutes to try and get a win over a tough Seattle team.

This isn’t your older sibling’s Seattle Seahawks though. Although they are still as tough and as physical as they come, they aren’t as daunting on the defensive side as the Legion Of Boom used to be.

However, that doesn’t mean that they aren’t as physical. The only thing now is this, that physicality is more on display on the other side of the ball.

It is for this reason though, that when thinking about this week’s game and the Dallas Cowboys’ chances to beat Seattle, the Dallas Cowboys defensive backfield gives me hope. Here’s why.
