3) What do you consider to be the team’s current greatest strength and weakness?

Vowell: The greatest strength Seattle has offensively is clearly Russell Wilson. Wilson for the last several years has made the Seahawks better than the sum of its parts. Without Wilson, Seattle might win 5 games. With him, they could make the Super Bowl. Besides Wilson, Seattle does have very good receivers and Chris Carson.

Defensively, Jamal Adams has helped transform the way the defense plays, even if the stats do not truly show it. Adams is an emotional player who has helped Seattle be much better against the run this year.

Besides the lack of pass rush, Seattle’s biggest weakness is defensive coordinator Ken Norton Jr. With the Raiders and with the Seahawks as defensive coordinator, his defenses have gotten worse. While the defensive line isn’t good in Seattle, there is way too much talent on the defense overall to be ranked last in the NFL.

Norton, Jr. simply doesn’t know how to get the best out of his players as a unit. If Dak Prescott doesn’t throw for more than 400 yards this week, I will be shocked. (Although, oddly, under Pete Carroll when opposing teams have thrown for more than 400 yards in a game Seattle is 8-0 in those games.)
