The Dallas Cowboys are favored to win on Sunday according to this Seahawks’ expert

Coming off the high of a last-second victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Week Two, the Dallas Cowboys are hoping to ride that wave of that momentum into their next matchup. And that will be against the 2-0 Seattle Seahawks in Washington this Sunday.

One of the benefits of being part of the FanSided network is our access to various NFL site experts. This week, we were able to ask the site expert of our Seahawks’ site, 12th Man Rising, five questions about the upcoming contest. Here’s what Lee Vowell revealed about the Cowboys’ next opponent.

1) What do you believe is the Seahawks’ biggest fear going into this matchup with the Cowboys?

Vowell: The Seahawks biggest fear against the Cowboys is just a complete lack of pass rush from the front four of the defense. Plus, now that Bruce Irvin is out for the year with a knee injury, the line is even less experienced and talented.

The Seahawks have 3 sacks through two games and 2 of them are by safety Jamal Adams. Of the 13 quarterback hits, current defensive linemen have only five of them. In fact, teams have dropped back to throw against Seattle 101 times this year and the quarterback has been hit on just 12.8% of those attempts.

Seattle ranks last in the NFL in total yards given up and the pass rush from the defensive line is the reason why.
