The Dallas Cowboys kicked their 2020 season off on Sunday night. They were filleted by the refs in the end, but it was still encouraging.

The Dallas Cowboys kicked their 2020 season off with a bang! As the visiting team to the newly constructed, newly opened, and freshly presented LA Rams stadium, the Dallas Cowboys found themselves at a familiar place, on the biggest stage.

Well, it appeared that stage fright may have gotten the best of them early, as the Rams proceeded to come out and drive right down the field on their opening drive for a touchdown. It was setting up to be a long night.

But then, it wasn’t. Even though the offense couldn’t get anything going early, forcing the defense back onto the field more than you would like and especially against a quick, to the point, and fast-paced Sean McVay offense, the defense did their jobs.

They did it masterfully to be exact. Yes, they gave up yards, but with all things considered, they should have allowed more points early but they didn’t.

For much of the game, it was back and forth, with no team getting out to a clear and decisive lead or advantage. It finished that way too, with the Cowboys having a chance to win it or tie it with one two minute drill left in them at the end.
