The Dallas Cowboys are about two weeks away from their opening game. With the season on the horizon, here are five bold predictions for the season.

The Dallas Cowboys play regular-season football on the Sunday after this one that is upcoming. Think about that.

With all that has happened in our world this year, with all the chatter about how anything with large crowds taking place could happen, and everything else that has occurred around us, you actually kind of forgot that it was coming around.

Even if you didn’t forget, you have to admit, it kind of snuck up on us all. I will be the first to say it, it hasn’t seemed like the long, agonizing, drawn-out wait that it has been in past years.

In any event, with that time upon us, it is time to start pondering upon predictions. With that in mind, here are five of those that are on the bolder side for our Dallas Cowboys in this upcoming season.

#5. Ha Ha Clinton Dix will be one of the team’s best defenders

Talk about bold. You say that because if you are paying attention, things are trending towards a Darian Thompson starting situation, but I believe that’ll change once things get for real.

Sometimes, you need to be in the line of fire before your instincts kick in. In a contract year and back with the guy in which it all started for Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, I’m willing to bet he turns in one of those 3-4 interceptions and two forced fumbles kind of years.

He just has to. With three different teams in the past two years, he’s almost playing for relevancy or relegation to a career backup. That’s why I believe he will turn in a great year, ending up one of the team’s best defenders before this year is all said and done.
