#2. CeeDee Lamb rated as the camp’s top wide receiver

The excitement hit an all-time high after the Cowboys landed Oklahoma’s CeeDee Lamb in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. After all, Dallas led the league in offensive yards in 2019, so adding a weapon like Lamb should send this offense into the stratosphere.

According to reports coming out of training camp, Lamb is living up to his massive hype. The 21-year old is apparently putting on a show every single practice at The Star, displaying the skill set that allowed him to post 62 receptions for 1,327 yards and 14 touchdowns for the Sooners last season.

Yet, coming into training camp, all rookies were at a severe disadvantage following an offseason without a proper training program, no minicamp, and a canceled preseason. But despite those obstacles, Lamb has still been able to shine.

In fact, the staff at DallasCowboys.com chose Lamb as the best wide receiver at training camp so far. That’s shocking considering the rookie is practicing alongside four-time Pro Bowler Amari Cooper and the ascending Michael Gallup, both of whom recorded over 1,000 receiving yards each last season.
