Another rushing title

Running back Ezekiel Elliott was the league’s leading rusher in 2016. The Dallas Cowboys went to the playoffs. Zeke did not win the title in 2017, consequently, Dallas missed the playoffs.

In 2018, Elliott once again won the league’s rushing title. Guess what? The Cowboys made the postseason. Last year, Elliott did not take the rushing crown and, yep, you guessed it, Dallas watched the playoffs from home.

Simple and plain, the Dallas Cowboys need to “Feed Zeke.” Great teams have identities. When the Cowboys are truly on, their identity is the pounding the rock with Zeke behind their top-notch offensive line.

Specifically, the Cowboys are at their best when the fourth quarter features body blow after body blow to defenses delivered by Elliott. Watching a team lose their will is what this team craves for its success. As such, the first thing that will lead to a Super season is Ezekiel Elliott’s third career rushing title.
