Get ready for a big year from the Dallas Cowboys through the air in 2020 as talent and a new direction should take this team to new heights.

With training camp right around the corner, the hype surrounding the Dallas Cowboys is almost as high as it can possibly get. The excitement of a new season, along with the hope we will actually have a season is all coming together to create a perfect storm.

As such, I figured that now would be the best time to discuss projections for all of your Dallas Cowboys’ offensive threats. Whether you translate this over to the realm of fantasy football or just use this as a barometer for success this season is up to you.

Last week, I started this process by projecting the year-end numbers for quarterback Dak Prescott. His numbers are key to today’s article as we will be looking at every single Dallas Cowboys player who figures to have at least one reception in 2020.

Running Backs

Before we get to the receivers and tight ends, let’s start with the catches out of the backfield. Last Tuesday, I laid out the 2020 projections for the running backs. If you’re interested in the full numbers, you can click the link.

As it pertains to receiving, however, I have Ezekiel Elliott at 37 receptions for 385 yards and two touchdowns. His backup, Tony Pollard, figures to add another 23 receptions for 196 yards and two touchdowns as well. Lastly, with the new regime in town, I think you’ll see some more production from fullback Jamize Olawale.

In his previous two years in Dallas, Olawale has just six total targets. I’d be willing to be his receptions eclipse that number alone. I’m earmarking Olawale four nine receptions with 76 yards. That puts the total running back contribution to the passing game at 69 catches for 657 yards and four touchdowns.
