Trade scenario #3
• Dallas Cowboys 2021 first-round pick
• Dallas Cowboys 2022 second-round pick
• Dallas Cowboys 2022 fourth-round pick
• Safety Xavier Woods
With Adams wanting out of New York, the price for his services may have dropped down a bit. Or, maybe that wishful thinking is a pipe dream. You tell me.
In this trade scenario, the Cowboys retain Pollard and Gallup but lose Xavier Woods. Dallas loses their 2021 first-round pick, but that’s a proper starting base, in my opinion. Plus, if Big D drives deep into the 2020 NFL Playoffs with Adams on board, then their 2021 first-rounder tender will drop into the later picks.
The Cowboys surrender two picks in 2022: A second and fourth-rounder. Overall, in this scenario, the ‘Boys retain Gallup and Pollard, while also landing the main prize in Adams.
Deal or no deal? What do you say, New York?
