La’Roi Glover, DT

Defensive tackle La’Roi Glover signed with the Dallas Cowboys and played for them from 2002 through 2005. He originally signed a five-year $22.5 million dollar deal with a six-million dollar signing bonus.

All he did during his tenure was make the Pro Bowl all four years while adding in 21.5 sacks from the defensive tackle position and never missed a game. The six-foot-two, 290-pound defender also forced five fumbles during his time here in Dallas.

Glover was one of the best defensive tackles during his playing days and he helped bring a veteran presence to a young defensive line. At the time, Dallas was coming off of back to back losing seasons and he helped the Cowboys return to the playoffs.

He is rarely mentioned as an elite defender when you talk about the Cowboys defense but he was worth every penny the Dallas Cowboys gave him. Glover was one of the best free-agent signings for your Dallas Cowboys and comes in at number five on my list.
