With the seventeenth pick in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys select …

Jeff Okudah, CB – Ohio State

There is a zero percent chance Okudah makes it out of the top seven, but it somehow happened in this ultra-crazy scenario. If he fell to seventeen, it should take the Dallas Cowboys all of 4.48 seconds to make the pick. This would also be a player worth trading up for if he fell far enough.

At 6-foot-1 and 205 lbs., Okudah ran a 4.48-forty at the NFL Combine. That size and speed combination is special. He can play equally effective both off the ball and in press coverage and plays with excellent technique.

Okudah would be the ultimate perfect pick for the Cowboys as they are likely to lose cornerback Byron Jones to free agency. Dallas would essentially be obtaining a younger, better, cheaper option while upgrading the position.

Other possible options available: K’Lavon Chaisson, DE – LSU, Henry Ruggs, WR – Alabama
