Tight end

According to ESPN’s Todd Archer, the Dallas Cowboys are set to place a second-round tender on Blake Jarwin. Doing so guarantees that the Cowboys will either pay Jarwin $3.3 million to play tight end for them in 2020 or they will obtain another second-round pick to use in the draft.

Even by accomplishing this task, Jarwin would join Dalton Schultz as the only two tight ends on the roster. While Jarwin has shown flashes of possibly being, at minimum, a serviceable option, we really have no idea what Schultz brings to the table.

While the class is not a deep one, it is quite likely that the Dallas Cowboys could nab University of Washington tight end Hunter Bryant. Bryant would add another weapon in the passing game after posting 52 catches for 825 yards and 3 touchdowns in his junior season.

The blocking may leave something to be desired but you could do worse for a mid-to-late third-round selection.
