Defensive Tackle Damon ” Snacks”  Harrison

The Dallas Cowboys defensive line is in desperate need of a run-stopping defensive tackle in the middle of this defense. Antwaun Woods has played will holding down the starting position but behind him, there is no one on this roster that has that ability.

The Cowboys tried with Christian Covington and that did work, he along with all other defensive linemen not named Woods or Maliek Collins were being pushed around all over the field in 2019 leading to the annual defensive collapse we’ve seen from the Cowboys at the end of the last two seasons.

They need to look for a big-bodied veteran that is more than able to hold his own against double teams to free their speedy linebackers to attack ball carriers and quarterbacks.

Inserting the recently released Damon Harrison would be a perfect replacement and would give the Cowboys a nice rotation at the position. Harrison had been a thorn in the Cowboys side during his time with the New York Giants.

Now they have the chance to bring him in on there side to stop the very talented running backs in the NFC East.

Stopping the likes of Saquon Barkley, Derrius Guice, and Miles Sanders will go along way in helping the Cowboys regain the title of NFC East champions, it will also help them on a playoff run. Because what has killed the Dallas Cowboys over the last two playoff appearances, their inability to stop the run.
