The Dallas Cowboys got their head coach in Mike McCarthy. It’s now time to ponder what type of talent awaits Big D in the 2020 NFL Draft. The next star is?

Honestly, I know what you’re thinking. The Dallas Cowboys are so huddled up with contract talks that any news outside of multi-million dollar deals is a breath of fresh air. Man, I hear you.

But we can’t deny the power of the dollar. The Cowboys obtained elite talent in three premier names, Dak Prescott, Amari Cooper, and Byron Jones. Do you believe the Cowboys can keep all three merely by squeezing their hand and hoping for the best?

I don’t know about you, but I’ve heard a lot about how America’s Team can keep the three in the house of AT&T Stadium. However, the month is nearly turning March and no deals have been done.

I ain’t nervous. You’re nervous. (Okay, I’m nervous.) Whatever your thoughts on those three names, the truth is those three guys will impact the landscape of potential draft choices Dallas brings in.

And with Mike McCarthy back in the saddle, it’ll be very interesting how the organization dives into the 2020 NFL Draft. Sure, who they draft is of significant importance. But pay attention to how they draft. This will be a telling sign of McCarthy’s influence (or lack of) on the front office.

Let’s face it: the first-round pick of the 2020 NFL Draft could be the trigger that catapults this squad from the average joe to thriving contenders. With that in mind, here are three potential first-rounders to consider.
