Greg Zuerlein, K – JoJo Natson, KR

The Dallas Cowboys special teams have been pretty for a while now and they haven’t done anything to fix the problem. They’ve had problems finding a dependable kicker and a punt and kick returner that can strike fear in opposing teams. This year could and should be different with a new coach in charge.

The new kicker should be Greg Zuerlein.

Zuerlein has a very good relationship with new special teams coordinator John Fassel having been with him during his time with the Los Angeles Rams. That isn’t the only reason the Cowboys should sign Zuerlein, he also has a big leg and in AT&T Stadium his has would be able to kick the ball from well beyond the Cowboys most recent kickers. He also has made 82 percent of his field goals and 97.8 percent of his extra-point attempts.

Zuerlein would be a great addition to the Cowboys team. Next is a weapon the Cowboys haven’t had in a long time, a kick and punt returner.

Enter Jojo Natson.

Natson is another player that Fassel is familiar with during his time with the Rams. And even though he is only a restricted free agent, JoJo is someone that the Cowboys should think about. His ability to change field position returning kicks would go along way in helping the Cowboys offense and defense.

For his career, Natson has averaged 20.6 yards per kick return and 7.7 yards when returning punts. He would be a welcome addition to a Cowboys special team that hasn’t had a true threat since Dwayne Harris left the team.
