Pros and Cons of the Dallas Cowboys recent coaching changes

Mike McCarthy Con’s

The biggest question that McCarthy will have to answer is how much has he learned from his firing in Green Bay?

When he was let go the biggest complaint about him was that his offense became stale and he was reluctant to change things.

When future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers is calling you out that’s a problem, and a big question going forward.

McCarthy isn’t known for his willingness to run the football during his time in Green Bay. Even when he had a running back Aaron Jones on the roster, who is now a workhorse for the Packers.

So how will he utilize one of if not the best running back in the NFL in Ezekiel Elliott?

McCarthy said after he was fired by the Packers that he would never give up his playcalling duties again.

So what does that mean for offensive coordinator Kellen Moore who led that Dallas Cowboys offense and made them a top-five offense? Will he follow through with his statement or will he allow Moore to continue calling plays for the Cowboys?
