With the 82nd pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys select …

Damon Arnette, CB – Ohio State

This is another situation where the Cowboys have two cornerbacks in Byron Jones and Anthony Brown hitting free agency and will need to bring in more bodies to help in the secondary.

In comes Arnette, at 6-0 and 195 pounds. The rookie defender fits the mold of cornerbacks the Cowboys like.

Arnette is more comfortable playing in zone coverage but can also play man. He is a willing tackler in the running game which is also a plus, but what many love about him is his football IQ.

You’ll never see him beat twice the same way in a game.

Career Stats: 140 total tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 5 interceptions, and 22 passes defended.
