The Dallas Cowboys have a lot of things to clear up this offseason from the roster to coaching staff. Here are my bold predictions for the offseason.

The Dallas Cowboys offseason is going to be one of the busiest in recent memory and we have to be ready for it. The coaching situation needs to be figured out, are they going with a collegiate coach or an established NFL coach. An how do they figure out the roster with half of them going into free agency.

Here are my bold predictions for the Dallas Cowboys this offseason.

Sean Lee and Jason Witten become Dallas Cowboy coaches

Two of the most beloved members of the Dallas Cowboys over the past 10 years are going to become position coaches for the Cowboys. Owner Jerry Jones will want to make sure that these two players don’t leave the building and will convince the next head coach to bring them on as coaches. Both would actually be great in those roles and even better is they know the players on the roster because they’ve been playing with them. So don’t be surprised if this happens.

Robert Quinn comes back on a three-year deal

The Cowboys aren’t sure if they are going to have Randy Gregory next season so they are going to go back to their sack leader in 2019. Quinn surprised everyone with his production and was a perfect complement to defensive end, DeMarcus Lawrence. So look for the Cowboys to get Quinn signed quickly when the offseason begins.

Byron Jones and Anthony Brown take a team-friendly deal

The Cowboys have the ability to sign Jones but his inability to create turnovers hurt him in his negotiations. The Cowboys will use that to sign him to a team-friendly deal and that money will go towards bringing back fellow cornerback Anthony Brown who takes a friendly deal as well. With both of them coming back the Cowboys can focus on the safety position in the draft.

Jerry Jones will sign a college coach to be the next head coach

Jones is looking for a repeat of history when he brought in Jimmy Johnson to replace a tenured NFL head coach. Look for the Cowboys to sign this coach and give him complete control of the offensive roster, while they help him with the defense. My best guess right now is the dark horse Dan Mullen, quarterback Dak Prescott‘s old coach and he runs a spread power run offensive scheme.

Finally, the Dallas Cowboys move down in the draft, twice

The Cowboys aren’t going to be able to sign all of their free agents this offseason so they are going to make sure they can fill the roster. The draft will be one of the best ways for this to happen as they will have a lot of the money tied up in signing Prescott and Amari Cooper. So they will most likely trade down in the first two rounds to get more picks and fill their roster with cheap and talented players.
