The Dallas Cowboys hammered the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night, and DeMarcus Lawrence is still reveling in his conquest of Doug Pederson.
DeMarcus Lawrence and the Dallas Cowboys sent a message on Sunday night.
In front of a national audience, Dallas dominated in a 37-10 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. This after a week of jawing, including Lawrence telling Eagles coach Doug Pederson to … um … pipe down.
On Tuesday, Lawrence joined FanSided’s Stacking The Box podcast, and had a final message for Pederson.
“The fans got to see the hungry side come out of me once again, and I’m just grateful to be in this position,” Lawrence told FanSided. “Let a man know when it’s time to shutup.”
If you’d like to listen to the entire interview with Lawrence, it begins at the 17:43 mark.
For Lawrence, the win was a statement moving forward for a Dallas team which harbors high expectations both locally and nationally. After starting 3-0, the Cowboys lost three straight but rebounded in time to maintain control of the NFC East.
Moving towards the second half of the season, Lawrence recognizes where this team can go.
This week, Lawrence is working with SNICKERS after becoming the seventh recipient of the Snickers Chain, rewarding the NFL’s hungriest players each week. Fans can follow SNICKERS on social media for the chance to win rewards and see which player receives the chain each week.
