2. Jason Garrett finds his fire or still a .500 guy?

Stop me if you’ve heard this before, but head coach Jason Garrett is at .500 again. Nothing new here, folks. Sorry.

So, the hated Philadelphia Eagles are coming to town, and their head coach is on the record saying he will be victorious. Gutsy. I like it.

So, Mr. Garrett, with all the fire surrounding you, do you respond? Or will you fall back into mediocrity? This will be Garrett’s 143 regular-season game as a head coach. He is 2-3 in the playoffs.

3. Philadelphia and Dallas head to head numbers?

Here comes the answer to your trivia question. When the Eagles and Cowboys meet Sunday night, it will be the 117 meeting in the regular season. America’s Team leads the series, 65-51.

The Iggles and the ‘Boys have met in the playoffs only four times. The Cowboys lead that series, 3-1.

4. DeMarcus Lawrence has only 2.5 sacks.

Where on earth is Mr. Lawrence? While the blame around Big D is spreading around like your favorite butter on toast, no. 90 is missing in action.

Let me remind you of something here. DeMarcus Lawrence signed a five-year, $105 million deal. He’s earning about $21 million a season.

Right now, I see a lot of talk from the power rusher. The defense has gone cold, and if we’re being honest, the Boise State product is part of it. In six games, he owns only nine tackles, 2.5 sacks, and one forced fumble.

In 2017, in posted 14.5 sacks. In 2018, he is credited for 10.5 sacks.
