The NFC East battle is here. The Dallas Cowboys. The Philadelphia Eagles. Both teams stand at 3-3, but one squad will hold the wheel Sunday night.

Here we go. This is it. The Dallas Cowboys will host the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday night. The winner holds the NFC East wheel in a firmer grasp, while the loser spins out at 3-4. Suffice it to say, both teams need this divisional win.

For Big D, their engine stalled after the New York Jets punished their efforts in New York. I got plenty of thoughts on that, so stick around.

To prep for the big NFC East fight, I got 10 numbers for you to digest before the big show goes down on NBC Sunday Night Football. As always, I’ll predict a winner at the end.

Before we jump into my list, let’s play a little trivia.

How many times have the Cowboys met the Eagles in the playoffs?

A) 8
B) 12
C) 4
D) Never

1. Doug Pederson guarantees his Eagles will get the win, standing 4-3 with NFC East lead.

I love confidence. Especially when it comes from the head coach. Doug Pederson, the Eagles ring leader, is on the record saying his football team will fly down to Big D and leave with a win. Wow. Talk about gumption.

Reported by Tim McManus from ESPN, here is what Pederson had to say:

"“We’re going down to Dallas, and our guys are gonna be ready to play. And we’re gonna win that football game, and when we do, we’re in first place in the NFC East,” Pederson said. “We control our own destiny. We’re right where we need to be.”"
