The Dallas Cowboys lost their battle against the Packers on Sunday. What are some of the lingering questions we still have days after the game?

By the end of the game, the Green Bay Packers beat the Dallas Cowboys yet again. The final score was 34-24. In this game, things went wrong offensively and defensively.

I want to dive in a bit to see some things that I see repeatedly happening, in addition to some new problems. These are just some things that come to my mind.

#1. Is Dak Prescott still too inconsistent?

Dak Prescott is only 26-years old as of right now, which is still very young for a quarterback. To expect stardom from a young passer is asking for a lot. This is an analysis of where Prescott is at this very moment.

I have always looked at Prescott’s passing game as inconsistent. During the first two games, Dak had played amazing and I thought for a second that maybe he put it together. The last three games don’t look all that good.

Right now, Prescott has the highest completion percentage of his career with 69.6 percent. The last three games saw him have a lower completion percentage. The first two games of the season where Prescott looked unstoppable is the main reason it is that high.

Prescott already has six interceptions this season, which is two more than his rookie year and only two less than all of last year. What I saw him improve on in the first two games, it seems he is lacking a bit as of late.

Don’t get me wrong, Prescott put up a career 463 yards against the Packers on Sunday, but the three interceptions were costly. Also, Dak had 134 passing yards in the first quarter, meaning he had 329 yards in the second half of the game. Two of his interceptions were also in the first quarter.

Prescott had a slow start, but quite a strong finish despite throwing for one interception. If you split up Sunday’s game by half, it’s like two completely different players.

In the first half, he had 134 yards, two interceptions, and no touchdowns. In the second half, he had 329 yards, one interception, and two touchdowns. It can be a good showing in the sense that he finished strong but bad in the sense that he needs to be productive throughout the game.
