6. 16 grams

The Dallas Cowboys are a hot team right now. I thought you might be thirsty, so I wanted to let Cowboys Nation know that there are 16 grams of sugar in an 8-ounce serving of Kool-Aid. Not sure how much you’ve drunk so far, but I’m about to down a gallon.

I’ve been resistant. But hey, the Dallas Cowboys are the talk of the town and no, the year is not 2014. Stay thirsty my friends or something like that.

7. Seven losses

Take a deep breath, Dallas Cowboys fans. The ‘Boys and the Dolphins have met 13 times. But guess what? The Dolphins own the head-to-head match up with seven victories over the Cowboys.

Wow. I had to read that stat line twice. Dear Leon Lett, thanks for the Thanksgiving memory. My dad never recovered. Oh well. The Dallas Cowboys did beat the Dolphins in a Super Bowl. So…

8. Game five

Bill Parcells would hate it if we overlooked the current opponent, but I’m doing it now. Okay, after the Dolphins, the Cowboys should be 3-0 and will travel to New Orleans afterwards. The Saints won’t have their leader and Hall of Famer, Drew Brees. Does that change the outcome? You bet.

So, my eyes are following the fifth game of the season. Packers. Cowboys. Ah, the great big test of 2019. I can’t wait.
