3. Number 24

Speaking of defensive backs, we have to discuss cornerback Josh Norman. Now, I am in favor of loud cornerbacks as long as they have the muscle to back it up. Norman is a standout cornerback and deserves praise for his play.

But let’s be honest, the Dallas Cowboys owned his rights last week. You can bring up Dak Prescott‘s stiff arm on the long-run play, or even how Norman was beaten by multiple receivers.

Here’s the route I’m taking: The Cowboys have deep weaponry and offensive coordinator Kellen Moore shot a ton of arrows out. Norman is an all-pro defensive back, but he was outclassed. Imagine what this team will do against lower quality defensive backs.

4. $30 million

It’s getting harder and harder not to justify Prescott’s pending payday. Love him? Hate him? Doesn’t matter. This guy is doing the right things, saying the right things, and most importantly, he’s handling the most difficult position of all in any sport with a class act.

Oh, his winning football games doesn’t hurt either.

5. 11 incompletions

In two games, quarterback Prescott has only missed 11 passes. He missed seven balls against the Giants in the season opener. Last week, three of his 30 passes hit the ground while another was intercepted after touching Dallas’s hands. And if we’re being honest, those were four very catchable balls.

So far, number four has a completion percentage rate of 82.3 and a quarterback rating of 142.9. Hey, do I need to remind you the Dolphins (0-2) are coming to Big D?
