Dak Prescott is once again proving his doubters wrong

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott continues his hot start to the 2019 season throwing three more touchdowns in the Week 2 win vs. Washington.
Quarterback Dak Prescott is once again proving all doubters wrong in the new Kellen Moore offense. Dak added three more touchdowns Sunday in a 31-21 victory over the Washington Redskins after throwing four touchdowns in Week 1 versus the New York Giants.
The best part about Prescott’s game right now is the confidence he is showing on every play. After an early interception, I thought it might be a long day for No. 4, but the early blunder was shaken off and resulted in another near-perfect performance from there on out.
What I have noticed about Prescott’s game that is much improved from years prior is his accuracy. Yes, he has missed a throw or two in the first pair of games. But the accuracy he has displayed when throwing the ball down the field on a consistent basis is night and day from last year.
Another attribute that has lead to Prescott’s 2019 success is the designed runs that Kellen Moore has drawn up for the offense. Dak is a true threat on the ground, we know that. I feel like everyone knew that except former offensive coordinator Scott Linehan.
Prescott would only have designed runs in the red zone last year. But having Dak run the ball at unexpected times does not only end up in a positive play, but it has a long-lasting effect on the defense when it comes to the passing game as it keeps them honest knowing No. 4 can take off at any time.
Dak Prescott and the rest of the Dallas Cowboys success should continue into Week 3 as the Cowboys host the terrible Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins lost 43-0 after losing 59-10 in Week 1. The Dallas Cowboys open up as -20.5 point favorites for Sunday, the largest point spread so far in 2019.
